I'm Juan Davis, nice to meet you! Making films takes a lot of dedication and work.  But at the end of the day to me there is nothing more gratifying than creating something that brings the audience to the edge of their seat.  

 

I'm from South Boston, VA but moved to the bay area about 10 years ago. From the day I stepped into Oakland, CA I knew that it was the place for me. The art and the culture intertwined with a rich history for social justice. ​This film will be horrifying but also be a love letter to the bay.

With a new acceptance of diverse content,  the time is now to show representation of everyone on the big screen. I'm a huge fan of horror and  I'm looking  to create something different.  A terrifying stew of urban culture mixed with, humor and  psychotic chaos. I am excited to show The Lick to the world.
